Transfer frozen contents of package, including any product particles and frost crystals, to 2 L beaker. Cover with plastic wrap to prevent evapn and thaw by placing beaker in ca 30° H2O bath. Transfer contents to high-speed blender and reduce to smooth, uniform puree while stirring constantly with rubber spatula to maintain proper action of blender. Return blended sample to original beaker and stir to pick up residual H2O. Transfer ca 200 g sample to small, sealed container for analysis.
