Cultivating TrustWe continue to make great strides on engaging and telling our story on the impact of our products, practices and partnerships across the region. In the first seven months of this fiscal, your helping tell our story combined with the work of the cultivating trust FTO teams has generated a massive 359 million impressions for our stories across media – newspapers, tv, radio, websites, twitter, facebook, LinkedIn etc. What is most impressive is 91% of this reach is in earned media, which means getting journalists to write positive stories about Monsanto, vs. paid advertising reach. As a result, our region’s results on reach so far are among the top 3 regions globally, and on earned media/journalist reporting, we are the number one-performing region globally. I want to thank each of you for helping tell our story. We have a long way to go, so i invite you to please continue. Cultivating Trust starts with you, and our farmer customers. That’s the core. Our colleagues in the Philippines have significantly improved customer focus. They have launched our Monsanto Quality Guarantee Program which enables us to respond to farmers and replace seeds with quality control issues within 72 hours – a vast improvement from the longest time previously recorded of 274 days!
