Project Management Office (PMO) is not a new phenomenon but, many questions remain about its role, implementation, relevance and value for the host companies. The purpose of this research is to check if and how can Project Management Office bring and hold value for companies. The sub-questions of this research considered the reasons for PMO Implementation, and its optimal implementation and liabilities. The technology was checked in the case study.
The chosen procedure allowed collecting wide data taking into attention organizational environment and project environment. In total, 15 interviews were conducted, and 45 survey responses were analyzed.
