. This study measured the absorption efficiency of organic contents in H. leucospilota at salinity 27, 29, 31, 33 and 35 ppt. The results showed that the absorption efficiency increased significantly along with the concentration of 27, 29, 31 ppt with the value of 48.441 ± 1.828%, 57.968 ± 0.263%, and 65.681 ± 0.229% respectively (p < 0.05). The highest absorption efficiency was found in concentration of 33 and 35 ppt with the value of 71.824 ± 0.758 and 71.447 ± 0.110 respectively, the value of these 2 concentrations were not statistically significant (p > 0.05). The data obtained from this study can be utilized as guidelines for the restoration of the ecological balance.
