I've just discussed with HAP's QA Manager on the above and pleased to advise the following
1. The standard chemicals used for fumigation of containers are either phosphine or methyl bromide. If you want to fumigate the container upon arrival in Bangkok, you need to check with your local pest control contractors and possibilities.
2. We yet to receive any further information on the Weevil and damaged bags or cartons. Please advise us immediately. Thanks
3. Also please take note that the QA department had done a thorough check at our warehouse (finished goods for SD Coffee) area and also on the various products stored in the warehouse, and we did not find any Weevils or any form of contamination. From the Weevil picture sent, it looks like the previous one sent to us. This Weevils are only attracted to Grains.
Please do not hesitate to revert with more information from your side.
