More specifically, although the theory of TTF provides general guidelines on how to align the goal of KMS design with the knowledge tasks,our findings suggest that designing KMS (or choosing among different KMS designs) is more complex than
merely going through a checklist of required functionalities.
Managers
need to understand what kinds of information gathering processes the
design of the KMS will induce, as it is the induced usage behaviors that
are indicative of the performance outcomes.
