Cups were then placed in a BOD incubator in
the absence of light, at controlled temperature
(25 ± 0.20°C) and humidity maintained close to
70% of field capacity. The moisture content was
checked every two days by weighing and adjusted
with deionized water. The experimental units were
evaluated at 0, 7, 42, 70 and 91 days after hatching,
with three replications. The chemical soil analysis
was performed after the last day of incubation.
