Drometrizole trisiloxane is a compound that is
well persisting on the skin suface, due to the
siloxane portion of the molecule. Concentrations
may not exceed 15% in cosmpetic products.
Bisoctrizole, or Tinosorb® M, is a pigment that
is water-soluble. Its fine particles remain on the
skin surface, but physicochemical properties do
not allow for penetration of the compound
through the skin. In cosmetics, presence may not
exceed a concentration more than 10%.
