In general practice of hotel industry, it’s the employer’s commitment to its workers to pay the service charge based on the volume of business as the service charge collected from customers is required to be distributed to the employees because they are not allowed to request for tips from the customers.
Therefore, we would like to propose the Management to consider the Increment of Service Charge (based on revenue) as we believe that only driven employees would put in the effort to find better methods to deliver quality output in the most efficient manner possible in our business. The more engaged and motivated the employees are, the more it helps with reducing turnover.
