The worst forms of child labor endanger health or well being, involving hazards, sexual exploitation, trafficking, and debt bondage. Every year, about 20,000 children die as a result of work-related accidents. Clearly, child labor is not an isolated problem but a widespread one, especially in Africa and South Asia.
