Children who are not exposed to challenging activities may not successfully develop their critical and creative thinking skills. The barriers to critical thinking are identified to guide the family and teachers on how they can appropriately and successfully help in developing the critical and creative thinking skills of young learners. Suggested activities are provided in this lesson which may be adopted or adapted both in the home and preschool settings. Barriers, however, can serve as reference in designing activities and in providing opportunities to develop young learners.
