For controlling flower rust spots, harpin protein (3% a.i.) showed the best performance followed by a mixture of Bacillus subtilis and Trichoderma harzianum, and mancozeb 80% WP. For column blight, harpin protein showed inferior efficacy compared to both bioagents and a mixture of chemicals. However, for black rot, harpin protein at the higher concentration exhibited slightly better control than the bioagents and the chemicals.
