Hares and Rabbits are similar and different just something. Both hares and rabbits breed prolifically, bearing 4-8 litters each year. Hares have black markings on their furs. Rabbits are altricial their young are born blind and hairless. In contrast, Hares are generally born with hair and are able to see. Young hares are therefore able to fend for themselves very quickly after birth. A young hares is called a leveret and a young rabbit is called a kitten, least correct but very commonly and a bunny.
