Trang Cake Festival
derives from the fact that Trang people are well known for making delicious cakes. This is particularly true for the villagers of Ban Lam Phu Ra where making cakes dates back generations. The cakes of Trang have no frosting and have several flavours like orange, coffee, three-flavoured, etc.
Cakes of Trang province is the native cuisine with aromatic flavors, soft, sweet, powdery and has a format that is unique is the ring shape. There is a hole in the Middle. Recipe to make cakes that passed many evil people came to investigate the age.

Trang Cake Festival is held on the first weekend of August every year. The objective is to promote Trang Cake, a well-known Trang product, and to help boost Trang tourism. The Festival has been consecutively held for 21 years, and as a result, people around Thailand as well as foreign travellers are now familiar with Trang Province. Trang Cake has become a product and a famous souvenir from Trang, which has gained revenues for the province
The activities in Trang Cake Festival included exhibitions of various Trang Cake entrepreneurs with their special offes, which would be partially granted as scholarships to students of SuanDusitRajabhat University, Trang Campus, demonstrations of how to make Trang Cake, the making of a local giant cake with a diameter of 1 meter and a weight of 40 kilograms, fancy parades, sales of OTOP products and stage performances from different academic institutions.
