The measurement was performed using a measurement setup including a VNA that enabled
us to control the pulse width of the incoming wave. The dimensions of samples were all h=w=270mm
(corresponding to 15 periodic units). Antennas were located at 400mm away from the samples.
metasurfaces is expected to reduce interference with other RF signals,which improves the quality of the wireless communications. Additionally, such improvement potentially leads to reduction of energy consumption and thereby to extension of the battery life.
