I am writing on behalf of Mr XX XXXX who is applying for the MSc International Management programme in your Business School. Although my experience with him has been mainly in teaching him during his second and final year engineering classes I also have taught him in the ‘Business Skills for Engineers’ module.
Mr XXXX has shown an interest in both engineering and business throughout his studies here and has performed well in the classroom and during his internship with ‘The Best Company’. He also was involved with the Faculty’s Dummy Company project during his third year, which gives all participants real decision making experience in a simulated business environment. Despite these other activities he has managed his course work and performed well in exams, gaining a final GPA of 2.87.
He has strong numeric skills, participates regularly in class discussions, and has an active schedule outside the class room, including part time work experience with ‘Another company’ and advanced IT skills. I feel he has the necessary characteristics and academic ability to do very well during your Masters course and in his future career.
