Bamboo vinegar (BV) is a brown-red transparent liquid
produced during pyrolysis of bamboo charcoal and contains
more than 200 types of chemical components, in which acetic
acid is themain component (Mu et al., 2004)Bamboo charcoal
ismanufactured by introducing dried bamboo into a kilnwith a
flame tunnel, heating the bamboo slowly to 600–900 °C, holding
for 4 days, sealing the tunnel, holding for 4 days, cooling to
roomtemperature, andwithdrawing the charcoal (Zhang et al.,
2003).
