the King of Thailand was known as the father of the country back then and even to the present. There have been nine kings, and the present one is Bhumibol Adulyadej. King Adulyadej was born at the Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, Massachusetts, in the United States on December 5, 1927. He had two older siblings. They both died in the past early years. He has reigned since June 9, 1946 to the present and he is the world's longest-serving monarch. He later married his wife, Queen Rajawongse Sirikit Kitiyakara, in the year 1950.They had four grown up children together.
Bhumibol Adulyadej gives happiness and makes sacrifices for Thai people. He does everything for Thai people by searching for good projects for Thai people like artificial rain project, new theory project, and oil projects. He wants everyone to love and have unity together. If you have food, you have to portion it out and don't hate each other. Thai people know him to be tired by his work, but he is not disheartened. He keeps going on.
The goals of the king are he wants everyone to have opportunity to do what they want. He wants everyone have a good standard of living and he wants everyone to have harmony.
The law had changed that the government ruled the country. King Adulyadej does not run the country like the other kings. However, he still helps people who don't have very much. He donates food, clothing, shelter and even the warmth from his heart. Everyone in Thailand loves him.
He is really nice to everyone in his country because he loves to help them. He is a really nice king. In my life I remember the first time he came to my city. He asked everyone in my town, "How are you doing, and How can I help you”. In my life I remember the time I had an audience with royalty with my grandmother because grandmother wanted to offer a garland to him. He touched my hair and asked me, "How old are you?" At that time I was only 7 year old. He smiled and gave the pencil to me. I felt pride to receive a gift from the king.
