Choice depends a lot on in which "ecosystem" you function. If you are an Apple person, the iPhone is a seamless adjunct, and any Android phone comes with compromises. And, to some extent, vice versa. For me, highlighting text for cutting or copying and pasting proved irritatingly cumbersome on Android devices, though I have not tried it on Samsung Android OS overlays. For that reason alone, I couldn't live with my Android phone and gave it up for an older second-hand iPhone. But, that's a personal choice. Right now, I am very happy with my iPhone 6 Plus.
