Indirect reduction should be performed as soon
as the state of the animal allows a safe general
anesthesia because any delay increases muscle
spasm and thus the difficulty of reduction. It is
not recommended to wait for decreasing of the
swelling as this will happen only after the local
circulation will normalize. Primary, the

anesthesia and muscle relaxants. After 2-3
days, inflammation and proliferative changes
produce a permanent contracture and difficult
