In the United States, children will attend kindergarten when they turn five. Yet according to researchers, the older children are able to handle this kind of content better than the younger ones. Moreover, a study conducted by the National Center for Education Statistics found that five-year-old children are more likely to have the reading, mathematical, or social skill that are necessary for learning kindergarten material.
