The nobility were barons and landfords. People who are in change of the land for the king.
These nobles collect taxes from people who live in the land they possess and should be treated with respect.
The Royalty and Clergy control them to control the urban population. They could sometimes serve in the King’s army and be knights.
Sometimes these nobles can have powerful authority by their strength in the army and could be feared.
