The factor „keyword in domain,“ and keyword domains as a ranking factor, were devalued in comparison
to 2013 for the second year in a row. The presence of keywords in the Title, the Description
and in H1 and H2 tags is still best-practice, but should not be over-optimized. A quick page load
time is one of the basic requirements for good rankings. The top pages load, on average, significantly
faster than the rest.
The presence of H1 headings has risen on average compared to the previous year, but still only
about 75% of all top 30 URLs have them, and only about 69% of sites have at least one H2 heading.
