How do we expect the “container inspection – seal verification” to take place and document to be signed? As we are only booking the freight with Costco carriers, we can’t control what is picked-up from the yard, can’t ask anyone to fill in the container inspection and can’t be at the factory to see if loading is done properly without damaging the container and get the “container loading supervisor signature” on the inspection document.
As a result, we will always be responsible for any failure and that’s where the catch is except if we send a staff from CY to end of loading process to get the document signed. And so far for LCB, we have done as below (192 containers) for Rev and shipments # which is not a lot of money to support this kind of requirement:
