The linear range for this method is less than the others. However, much less molecule forming element (aluminum) was used in this study. It should be stated that the fluorine concentration of toothpaste samples were around 30–40 mg L−1 before aspiration and toothpaste is one of the most fluorine rich samples.There is no use of extending the linear calibration curve to very high fluorine concentrations. Therefore, the linear range with aluminum mono fluoride is sufficient for almost all the samples for the determination of fluorine.LOD was somewhat worse than that found by Gleisner et al. [17].
