Clarity
Finally, the nurses reported more clarity on the ward,
because improved leadership created clear-cut boundaries
and a more structured work environment. The
clinical leader learned to use his time efficiently by
prioritizing tasks, saying no to less important things.
Participants noted that definite arrangements must also
be fulfilled. The nurses now had to make an appointment
to talk with the clinical leader. The head nurse
kept team members informed of his agenda.
