The impact of H2O2 initial concentration incolor removal kinetics under UV/H2O2 process forthree typical dyes was investigated. Our resultsprove that the pseudo-first order kinetic model isin good agreement with the experimental data. Aset of parameters for the model depicting thisdegradation were determined. These parameterswill naturally vary with the operating conditions,such as UV irradiation intensity, but also the chemicalcharacteristics (such as dye structure, pH,concentrations. . .) of the effluents tested.An increase in H2O2 concentration leads to afaster degradation up to a critical value; at a higherratio the degradation process becomes slower.
