Reflections on the Steamboat Party1. How do you feel about the Steamboat Party? That was the first time I have joined in Steamboat Party. I feel very happy, my spirit the flaming fence from yesterday afternoon, when we and Dr. Erlinda G. Acierto prepare plate, spoon, fork and banana leaves... We make very fun and interesting. I greatly admire Dr. Erlinda G. Acierto and learned a lot of things from her because she was the companion and worry for our steamboat party preparation from yesterday afternoon. She did not only talk or look but worked with us. The way Dr. Erlinda G. Acierto prepare the program is excellent. Our Steamboat Party was naturally different in its style and its sense. That had a lot of food and everything from the Steamboat party looks wonderful, especially decorating dish and table with banana leaf. Due to that creative decorating. We thank you Dr. Erlinda G.Acierto so much. I like the conventional steamboat style…more fun and closeness.2. Identify the values lived at the moment, values which relate to our Philosophy of Commitment to Total Human Development. The first and foremost meaning of our Steamboat Party is the participation of all students in preparation, contribution and attendance. For this party, our group, MSED, were make many kinds food by chicken meat. each country will make a kind of thier country tradition food. Other hand, I see that all of groups give us very delicious food and we can share food with others so I see that our lives need to share with others and especially we need to concern about the poor people.Happy life is important for all of us. I see that at the moment every people are equal and relate with each others. All of us are happy to eat and laugh so we forget suffering life and we develop about relationship with others and it make us also to develop about healthy and spirit. I see that this values relate to our Philosophy of Commitment to Total Human Development, because we need to have experience about celebration life with joy and happy. We also not only study on the lesson but also we study this case in our life, so I have experience that how to help others to be happy life. 3. Can you express these values in your own respective languages?Excellent and interesting Steamboat Party. To me, it was, in a word, "amazing".That had a lot of food and everything from the Steamboat party looks wonderful, especially decorating dish and table with banana leaf. Due to that creative decorating, we thank you Dr. Erlinda G.Acierto so much. I like the conventional steamboat style…more fun and closeness.4. Is the holding of the Steamboat Party relevant to our respective discipline of study ? The first inestimable lesson to me in the holding of this Steamboat Party is dedication, fervency and sacrifice of Dr. Erlinda G.Acierto. She dosposed and cared for every detail and everybody of Steamboat Party. She is a lively task of our Philosophy of Commitment to Total Human Development. Moreover, I could also learn to devote of my classmates. Would love to have we around! There were so many activities to show culture through food and decoration. Steamboat Party is such a wonderful and social way of entertaining and unifying. Thanks to this opportunity, I have met some new friends and had a long chat with them. It opened my eyes to the true meaning of community. Each of us, students in class, has contributed in part of ourselves. As many colorful and rich dish on a table, each of us creat many good and unshakeable values in our life. I should think the community relation refers close to our Philosophy of Commitment to Total Human Development. It helps us to become a good people and have confidence in life. Relevance to my respective discipline of education, Steamboat Party was a chance to discover and prove oneself such as cooking, decorative, dancing, singing, flexibility and during sharing I realize that each country has own culture it help me to learnt value culture from others countries.5. What social implications can you draw from the experience of the Steamboat party?
