Yet again, we can’t do Google searches properly because someone is running Hola VPN, apparently on a phone or mobile device. I don’t have software to track and control what’s on company phones as I’ve always thought phones to be very personal and private. However if they’re causing problems with our internet connection I have no choice but to take action to police these devices. Currently I have these options:
• Install security software on company phones.
• Ban privately owned phones from the Wi-Fi network.
• Physically inspect all company phones for prohibited software.
• Turn off Wi-Fi.
I honestly don’t want to do this and don’t want to make more work for myself but I don’t want malware on the network and I don’t want to have to fill in a CAPTCHA every time I use Google.
Also, if you are running uTorrent or any other peer-to-peer movie service now would be a good time to uninstall it.
