Section 1437 paragraph 3 mentioned that “Sinsod” (Gift for the Fiancee’s Parents) – is the property given on the part of the man to the parents or guardian or adopter of the woman in return for the woman agreeing to marry.
“Sinsod” is not a substantial condition of a betrothal or a marriage likes Khongman. So, even if there is no Sinsod, the engagement or marriage is still lawful.
