1. Typical of other manufacturing plants, Fabtech assume that there is a “Goods Incoming” procedure, whereby the formulated resin batch is received, and checks are performed on the resin, required project specific (if necessary) specifications and, resulting from this, changes to the calibration/settings of equipment are made. Please indicate the Goods Incoming procedures in place, as well as any processes which control incorrect or non-conforming products being received or used.
2. In order to produce project specific materials, Fabtech assume that a test run is manufactured prior to the full manufacturing run to ensure that the finished product matches the project specification. Please indicate the testing procedure used for the initial batch of materials prior to the full run.
3. During manufacturing of any particular product, project specifications call for specific manufacturer’s quality assurance testing frequencies, for a range of criteria (for example: thickness, tensile properties, tear/puncture resistance). Please indicate what protocols are in place to ensure that manufacturer’s testing is done according to the project specification, and according to the test standards provided with the project specification.
