Note in the video that the silver car yields to the cars on his left before he pulls out. Then with perfect timing the car to his right passes by and then he completes his left turn. Notice how he completes his left turn in the lane closest to him, the one next to the median. In doing all of this, he also drives the car straight across until he gets to the median, where he begins to steer the car into the nearest lane. This path of coming straight out and then turning is perfect. The driver in the video also makes the turn in one motion, not stopping in the middle of the road. Again, this is perfect. It is against the law to stop your vehicle in the middle of two medians unless the medians are 30 feet wide. Pro tip: very few medians are 30 feet wide. Because of yielding, the path the car was driven and the continuous motion, this all comes together and makes for the perfect left turn
