Index (CPI)
The Corruption Perception Index is a ranking by Transparency International of countries in terms of their perceived level of corruption from 0-100, with 0 being very corrupt, to 100 being not perceived to be corrupt.

Intermediary
Any individual or entity retained by Jacobs in a role that requires interfacing with government officials on behalf of Jacobs.
Representative
Any individual or entity that is or may be retained or acts on behalf of Jacobs, regardless of the form of compensation, wholly or partly for the purpose of assisting in the sales of Jacob' products or services to clients or potential clients.
To the extent that it falls within the above definition a country sponsor, joint venture partner or subcontractor will be considered a representative for the purposes of this work instruction.
Supplier
An organization or entity providing project-related goods or services to Jacobs (whether on Jacobs' paper, Jacobs' client's paper or otherwise).
Supply
Manager
The person responsible for engaging a supplier for Jacobs' purpose. This could be a project manager, project administration manager or other person.
This term is used in this procedure to refer to the person responsible for identifying and engaging a supplier. It does not refer to a particular job title or position within Jacobs.
