Among the four major shortcoming of EigenTrust algorithm, the first two are related to vector p. The first is that it can not guarantee for iteration convergence. Although EigenTrust added vector p to ensure the irreducibility and the aperiodicity of C, then quarantee to converge, it gave these nodes congenital privilege. The second disadvantage is the lack of punishment. We only assign value for vector p to trusted nodes, and treat the malicious nodes and others without discrimination.
