As a young man, Buddha was kept away from other people. His father built a palace to keep him away from the world and keep him safe. Even after he was married at the age of 16, he was still kept in seclusion from the outside world until he was 29. When he ventured out into the world, the discovery of ascetics lead him to abandon his life and try to find a solution to the world's problems. His meditation and study lead him to his religious discoveries. These discoveries lead to Buddhism being named the country's religion after his death.
