Centenarian, Couach has developed over 4 generations an unequalled know-how conceiving vessels with exceptional marine qualities and perfect finishing.
1897
Albert Couach creates in Arcachon the first marine engines in the world and the first COAUCH entity.
1946
Guy Couach launches the first industrially built boats whose exceptional marine qualities make the shipyards reputation.
1970
The company develops patrol boats and becomes one of the leading suppliers for Navies as well as national and international Customs administrations.
1996
The shipyard changes hands and aims the Superyacht construction.
2000
The company is listed on the stock exchange. The workshops are extended and renovated
2005
The products now range from 20 to 33 metres. The company increases its export sales and takes over the IMS shipyard in St Mandrier (Toulon) which becomes its technical base in the Mediterranean.
2006
The year is marked by the launch of the new 33 metre, 3300 Fly, and the launch of 3 new projects: a 30 metre, a 37 metre and a 50 metre vessel, all of which adhere to the new characteristic design of the brand.
2007
The 3700 Fly, the largest yacht ever built by COUACH shipyard, knows a great success. Even before launching the first model of this new 37 metre, 5 orders are already recorded. The shipyard takes on important building work with the construction of a 4400m² hall which will house the construction of the 50 metre yacht.
2008
The shipyard starts building the 2 first 5000 Fly units as well as a gigantic launching ramp. The audacity of the pioneering shipyard brings Couach back into the spotlight.
2009
Couach yachts is reborn within the Chantier Naval Couach- CNC. The desire to develop the Mega Yacht segment encouraged the opening of a commercial agency and showroom in Cannes.
2011
The Company Nepteam held by local industrial investors, bought all the shares of the group Couach, to contribute to the revitalization of industrial activity in Aquitaine. But also redeploy the IMS refit shipyard on the new naval base of Toulon.
