I have to reduce my tone of voice because normally I am a noisy person. If I still keep my voice loud, it will be annoyed other passenger and some of them may think that I shout to them. Next, the gesture and facial expression that I learned from this class help me a lot because I have to look calm, helpful, and smile to make passenger feel welcome.ABM 409: Cross Cultural Communication for AirlineFrom my experience, I face variety of cultural passenger like Pakistan, Germany, India, and more. The knowledge that I used is when I face passenger is, I will apply my knowledge about the culture that I have with them. For example, if I know that he or she is Islam, I will recommend the food that not use pork in the cooking process or Japanese passenger I will fold my body to greet them instead of praying. In case of accent, if I didn’t study this course before, I will not understand some of the accent.ABM 312: Advance Ticketing and ReservationFor the reception side, there is the Amadeus system to check a lot of detail about the flight or coding which mean that there are many code that will use for this internship for example, if I have to check the member of passenger that it is gold or not, I can check by insert FFD follow by airline and member number so the screen will show the status. Next, I can also check some of the city code or airline code, if I am not sure that it is in the Star Alliance or not by insert DNA follow by airline code or DAC follow by Airport code or city code.ABM301: Passenger ground service managementFor the lounge section, I use many way to handle passenger in many case some of them may feel tire, and angry because they are not allow to get into lounge for this case I will recommend them to other lounge which they can use or maybe suggest them to pay for lounge available. In the bar side, some of the passenger may want sparkling alcohol or champagne which Royal silk lounge are not provide, so I have to speak to them polite as much as possible. Furthermore, when I have a break time, sometime other passenger asks for help like where is this boarding gate for this flight or where is smoking area. Answering and guiding is consider to be must because it is my duty as well to help them.
