There are many rumours flying around on various confidential matters such as salary, compensation
structure and benefits, organization structure, people movement etc. This is a gentle reminder that
such matters are not to be taken lightly and spoken about especially when they are not based on
fact.
Colleagues with access to sensitive information will not disclose to anyone, other than their
immediate suBervisor, any information considered sensitive, personal, financial or private without
the knowledge or consent of the individual/organisation. lf it is necessary to discuss difficult
situations with each other to gain a wider perspective on how to approach a problem, the
organization's consent must be sought before such personal / sensitive information enters into the
discussion, unless it is heyond doubt that the organization would not object to this.
Such matters have high impact on the morale of staff and affect our people. They may also
inadvertently be leaked out to the market and our customers causing unnecessary concerns in the
market and impacting our business.
