These patterns were associated with the three DSM-IV axis II clusters: cluster A correlated with the criticized/mistreated pattern; cluster B was associated with overwhelmed feelings, helplessness, hostility, disengagement, and sexual attraction; and cluster C correlated with therapists’ protective and warm feelings
