4. Power distribution equipment on 115kV side:
According to the actual circumstances of the HPP, the type of switchyard applicable for arrangement is outdoor open switchyard.

1.7.3 Control, protection and communication
(1) Automatic control
The computer monitoring system of the HPP is to be designed by the “unattended” (few people attended) means of operation. It is planned to use a totally computerized monitoring system to realize the control, measurement, signal and information management of the HPP, etc. The monitoring system is to be adopted the hierarchy-distributed fully open system; which is easy for expansion of the system. The structure and hardware composition of computer monitoring system of the HPP comprise the control floor and the local unit floor for the HPP.
(2)Relay protection
The relay protection of all the main E/M equipment (including generator, main transformer station-service transformer, and 115kV line and 115kV bus) is proposed as microcomputer-type relay protection device. The relay protection configuration shall comply with the Technical Regulations for protection Relays and Safety and Automation Devices (GBT14285-2006), Guide for design of relay protection in hydraulic power plants (DL/T5177) and the actual circumstance of the HPP.
