As you know, we currently have two workflows running in the TMS for the performance and development planning process:
• Role Objective Setting (closes out Sept. 30)– users who were in the old EPDP system review and submit their existing role objectives to their manager, manager approves and moves the role objectives to a state where both can make updates as needed.
• Mid-Year Reviews (closes out Sept. 4) – managers who choose to participate or who must participate due to requirements from their BU or function initiate the process, the employee completes a self-evaluation, followed by the manager’s evaluation, followed by a face-to-face review
Effective August 1, we will no longer put people (e.g., new employees) into the mid-year process workflow when they are entered into the TMS. This process will close out on September 4, and it would not make sense to continue to put people into workflow if they do not have time to complete the process. We will continue to put people into the role objective setting process workflow so that they can document their role objectives until closing out that process on September 30. We will close out the role objective setting process in order to open up the year-end process on October 1.
Given that there is only about a month left for people to complete mid-year reviews, now is a great time for you to remind any users that you support who are participating in the process. You can utilize the “Status of Active Processes” tool on your dashboard to help you track participation for the employees within your area of responsibility. Extensions to the September 4 deadline to complete reviews are not possible.
Thanks for your help and support!
