Study Group Characteristics
The study sample consisted of 271 HR offspring (148
males) born between 1941 and 1977 and 242 control offspring
(131 males). The mean age at end of the follow-up
was 40.0 (SD = 5.5) years for HR and 41.2 (SD = 4.4)
years for the control offspring. Of the HR offspring, 29
(22 males) had developed a schizophrenia spectrum psychosis
(schizophrenia N = 19, schizoaffective disorder
N = 5, delusional disorder N = 1, and psychotic disorder
NOS N = 4), whereas 34 (19 males) had developed other
mental disorders in adulthood.

laki-laki) yang lahir antara tahun 1941 dan 1977 dan 242 keturunan control
(131 laki-laki). Usia rata-rata pada akhir tindak lanjut
adalah 40,0 (SD = 5,5) tahun untuk HR dan 41,2 (SD = 4,4)
tahun untuk anak kontrol. Dari keturunan HR, 29
(22 laki-laki) telah mengembangkan psikosis spektrum skizofrenia
(schizophrenia N = 19, gangguan schizoafektif
N = 5, gangguan delusional N = 1, dan gangguan psikotik
NOS N = 4), sedangkan 34 (19 laki-laki) telah maju lainnya
gangguan mental di masa dewasa.
