Adsorptive voltammograms of a solution of α-lipoic acid show a high reduction
peak at−0.40 V, most probably to dihydrolipoic acid. In the presence of
Cu(II) a second small reduction peak is observed at −0.50–0.53 V,
which is related to copper concentration.
