In other words, we can say that the internet causes smuggling in various kinds of goods. The result shows that, apart from alcoholic beverages, where there is no statistically significant smuggling from e-commerce, government may well have lost revenue from all commodities: cigarettes; household equipment; textiles, clothing, footwear, and leather goods; books and stationery; and also motor cars. The amount of smuggling and tax loss that we can estimate now is not much. The highest percentage of smuggling is in the category of stationary and books which is 1.08 percent. However, from the rapid growth of the number of internet users and e-commerce market, government may face a large loss of revenue in the near future.
