9. The scholarship will be co-tenable with any other award unless the conditions of another awardpreclude this.10. Unless otherwise specified in the offer letter, an offer of a scholarship will lapse if it is notaccepted, in writing, within one calendar month of the date of the offer.11. The value of a scholarship will be credited to a recipient’s University fees account at the time ofenrolment in the relevant programme of study.12. A condition of acceptance is that a recipient permits publication and announcement of his orher acceptance of the award. Background information (provided by the recipient) and/or aphotograph may also be published. A recipient must be reasonably available for promotionalactivity relating to the scholarship, including attendance at the presentation of the award at theAnnual General Meeting of the University of Canterbury Alumni South Island Chapter, andreporting on his or her studies to a subsequent Annual General Meeting or similar meeting ofthe Chapter during the tenure of the scholarship.13. In the event of a recipient’s withdrawal from study in a programme for which the scholarshipwas awarded, the scholarship will be withdrawn, and any paid funds may be recovered.14. Continuation of a scholarship is conditional on satisfactory academic progress and adherenceto the University's statutes and regulations
