1. Main Objective
PU-AMI is looking to recruit a Human Resources Assistant in order to support the Human Resources Officer and operate within the HR management (HRM) framework.

2. Specific Responsibilities
The responsible person assures an appropriate quality of work within the HRM cycle. The HR Assistant is in charge of administrative issues for international staff and national staff at Mission level. The HR assistant will be mostly in charge of the camp access authorization process but his/her responsibilities include:
Administrative and legal framework
• Follows-up the camp access authorizations process for the 3 camps (Mae La, Umpiem, Nupoe):
o Prepares the documents that need to be sent to the authorities
o Follows-up the process by phone and in person (movements to the camps will be required at least twice a month).
o Builds/maintains good relationship with the authorities (camps commandment, Province administration office, District office, etc.)
• Follows-up the travel requests process for Base staff
• Supports the HR officer in the visa and work permit application process
• Helps the HR officer to keep personal files up-to-date at all time.
This list is not exhaustive. HR assistant will provide constant support to the HR officer upon request.
3. Position Requirements
- Certificate or diploma in business or HR Management or similar education
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience with demonstrated skills in HR administration.
- Thai native speaking. Must be proficient in English
- Must be highly organized, rigorous and diplomatic
- Flexibility, ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
