taken from test tube two and put into test tube three also containing 4 ml
of dilute DMSO. In this manner, the serial dilutions were done to test
tube six and 2 ml was discarded from the sixth test tube. The serial
dilution was in two-fold, i.e. 1/2 or 2-1, 1/4 or 4-1, 1/16 or 16-1, etc. Tube 2
