During this period of mourning, we understand that our Thai staff may want extra flexibility to be with their families and participate in events to pay final respects to His Majesty the King. If you need time off to be with your family or attend events, we understand. Please let your manager know so they can plan coverage while you are out of the office.
This will be a trying time for many of our customers who have travel plans and a period of disruption for them. Many Thai people may need to revise their plans to return home or travel to different locations. Foreigners who have planned to visit Thailand may need additional support rebooking their travel or have additional questions in advance of their trips.
We have been through many trying times together, and we've always been able to get through by working together and extending each other flexibility and understanding. We ask all staff to be mindful and respectful of Thai customs in this period, including avoiding colorful or disrespectful outfits, avoiding celebrations or other activities / behavior that would be inappropriate in light of the circumstances. If you aren't sure, please ask your colleagues for advice.
We stand with our Thai staff, customers, and partners in this time.
