Code of conduct
The company should clarify the standards of ethical behavior required of directors and senior executives and encourage observance of those standards. The company should publish its rules regarding directors’ and executives’ trading in the company’s securities and associated derivatives.
A code of conduct should be established to guide directors and senior executives as to practices necessary to maintain confidence in the company’s integrity and the responsibility and accountability of individuals for reporting and investigating reports of unethical practices: Recommendation 3.1. there are detailed suggestions for the content of the Code of conduct.
