2.1. Thermogravimetry and differential scanning calorimetry
(TGeDSC)
The simultaneous TGeDSC curves were obtained by using a
Mettler Toledo TGA-DSC 1stare system. The purge gas was an air
flow of 50 mL min1 and a heating rate of 10 C min1 was adopted,
with samples weighing about 20 mg. Alumina crucibles were used
to record the TGeDSC curves. The DSC curves permitted the
determination of the thermal events, such as exotherm or endotherm
reactions, as well as making it possible to determine the
main oxidation temperatures and to calculate the enthalpy (DH).
